Is the Physiotherapy service that is provided by Steve Donigan, a Chartered Physiotherapist registered with the Health Care Professions council.
Steve is passionate about the benefits of physiotherapy, he aims to provide a logical understanding of the cause of the pain or problem in order to provide the most effective treatment.
Steve gained his BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Salford in 2008, after previously gaining a BSc in Applied Biology from Liverpool John Moores University. He has completed a range of post graduate training courses in various topics including Gait analysis with the European Society of Movement Analysis Centres, Acupuncture with the AACP, Pilates with the APPI and is also trained in Movement screening and Bike fitting for physiotherapists.

Steve specialises in advanced musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis and treatment. He has previously worked as an Advanced Physiotherapist at the Gait Laboratory at Alder Hey Hospital. A Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at Wirral Community Foundation NHS Trust and also in private practice at Willaston Physiotherapy and Spire Murrayfield Hospital.
Steve played county level Hockey as a young man and has played many other sports recreationally, he likes to challenge himself with triathlons and has completed several Olympic distance races. Due to this he has a particular interest in sports injury management and rehabilitation. This has been consolidated by working with athletes from various different sporting environments. Steve has previously been club physiotherapist for Birkenhead Park RFC and worked with Cheshire RFU representative teams. More recently he has been working with professional basket ballers from the Cheshire Phoenix of the BBL.
Steve has over 10 years of clinical experience and has treated people of all abilities through to international athletes. This enables him to care for patients from the very onset of an acute injury through to the final stages of rehabilitation, when returning to sport.

Comprehensive examination of injury or movement.
Diagnosis, treatment and exercises programme provided.
Steve can liaise with your GP and letters may be sent to your to request further investigations such as X-rays, MRI scans.
Follow up treatment £40 (1 hour)
