Nutriton for Performance

Passion or Professional Interest

Improved performance outcomes in training and competition can be positively supported by the implementation of correct nutritional strategies. Through consistent and correct dietary intake we are better able cope with training loads and recover more efficiently. Through eating in a way that is individual to ourselves and takes into account our individual needs we become more able to achieve our sporting goals.

With all forms of media now being swamped with dietary recommendations, and advice, it has become very difficult for individuals to know what is good information and what is not.  Working with a registered nutritionist can assist you in finding the best approach for your circumstances and individual performance outcomes.

Nutrition Consultations

Before you arrange a nutrition consultation you will need to complete a pre-consultation form, where you will be asked to provide information on your dietary habits and goals – this will enable your consultation to be tailored exactly to your requirements.  Some clients wish to work on a particular area, or learn more about a specific topic, others just want to discuss nutrition, health and general strategies for their individual sport.  Whatever your queries or concerns, a consultation is a great opportunity to spend time with a professional who can support you in creating a diet that suits your lifestyle and needs.

Here are just some of the areas we can cover:

  • Weight maintenance

  • Weight loss

  • Increased lean mass

  • Sport specific performance nutrition

  • Dietary practises for training and competition
