At Creation our team of personal trainers are passionate about educating and motivating their clients when helping them to reach their personal fitness and lifestyle goals. The team of trainers have all worked with a broad spectrum of individuals, ranging from the not so regular exerciser, to the elite athlete.

At Creation we believe in listening to you as an individual and finding the most suitable way for you to progress to the next level regardless of your current fitness level or previous training experience.

Your path to successfully reaching your chosen goals

Once we have established what your health and fitness goals are in an initial consultation with your chosen trainer, you will then progress next to a physiological assesment with our Sports Therapist Natalie Harman. Natalie will perform a range of functional movement assesments and complete a postural analysis to look at muscle balance and joint range of movement. From this initial assesment your personal trainer will be better equiped to provide a progressive programme of exercise that develops in a safe and effective way that is individual to you.

At Creation our trainers are happy to provide a structured programme of exercise to use at home or the gym that can be completed along side one-2-one studio sessions.

At Creation we like you the individual to choose who you would like to work with so a level of consistency is attained when working towards your chosen goals. Below are details of our dedicated team of personal fitness consultants.


Christopher Carter BSc. (Hons)

Chris has been working as a personal trainer for over eight years and established Creation Personal Training in 2005. Over the years Chris has taken various qualifications with leading industry providers and has most recently finished a UCAPD in Soft Tissue Therapy. Chris is able to adapt his approach to ensure you get what you as an individual want from your training sessions. Whether it is to attain your sport specific potential, run that first mile or simply get into a healthier lifestyle routine, Chris can help you.

Chris is qualified to deliver ante-postnatal training programmes, has worked with international level athletes in different sports and enjoys helping the regular exerciser fulfil their potential.
Chris is available at the studio Monday to Thursday and Saturdays for both personal training and sports massage.

Jamie Campbell BSc. (Hons)

Jamie developed his knowledge of fitness training by firstly completing a Degree in Sports and Exercise Science. Since then he has completed various coaching qualifications and more recently finished a Diploma in Advanced Personal Training with Premier Global.

Jamie provides a professional and caring service, something previously demonstrated through his experience of coaching children within a care environment.

Jamie is a keen footballer and when in the gym likes to push himself and others hard when training. Jamie enjoys taking a varied approach to his clients whilst instilling a functional approach that can help develop the individual not only within the studio environment but also crosses over into their everyday life. Jamie is a qualified, registered Kettlercise instructor and provides private or buddy 45min training sessions focusing on the use of the kettlebell as a training tool.

Jamie is available at the studio on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Tim Barrett Dip FTST

Tim has over 11 years experience in exercise prescription. During this time he has also tutored fitness instructing courses.

Tim is a keen triathlete and specialises in Ironman distance events (2.5 mile swim, 112 mile cycle, 26.4 mile run) completing UK, Lanzarote and Western Australia. These interests and experiences enable Tim to focus on sport specific training, helping others to reach their goals.

Tim is qualified in GP referral and is currently undertaking a triathlon coaching qualification.

Tim is available at the studio on a Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

Elizabeth Wall Dip Couns, Dip CBT, Dip PT, MBABCP

Recently qualified liz has always had a passion for working with people. An experienced therapist + CBT practitioner, she qualifed as a PT with Focus Training having undergone a significant weightloss and lifestyle change through training for several years with Chris at Creation. Liz is able to combine her personal training skills with elements of cognitive behavioural techniques to support clients to stay motivated to achieve their specific goals. 

Liz runs a successful bootcamp in Port Sunlight and also teaches private pilates sessions for Creation
in addition to her private therapeutic clients. Liz firmly believes in personal training for the body and also
the mind, this is a key element of her work for Creation. 

Liz is available at the studio on a part time basis for personal training and holds private Pilates sessions on Sundays

Pilates Instruction 

Pilates is a series of slow, controlled movements, focussing on the whole body approach. It is mat-based, and very little equipment is used. There is an emphasis placed upon strengthening the deep muscle corset and centres on the premise that all movement begins here and controls the movement in the extremities. It relies upon precision of movement, correct breathing technique and the flow of movement, one into another. It will assist you in stabilising and strengthening your core muscles, preventing further or future injury, improving efficiency of movement, increasing flexibility and in keeping with Creation’s approach to training.
